Modeling & Simulation
ATR has the personnel, analysis tools, and techniques to assist you in the modeling and simulation processes for your applications. Our senior personnel have developed their skills through many years of experience at Navy laboratories and private industry. We work very closely with the ATR Design and Prototyping personnel to develop a systems approach for solving complex systems problems.

ATR's highly skilled scientists and engineers utilize its SGI and Intel based multi-processor workstations to perform simulation based design and analysis, and animation, and to provide product design support. Examples of Structural Design Capabilities include:

 
  • Advanced Coupled Eulerian/Lagrangian codes for fluid-structure interaction (CTH/DYSMAS)
  • DYNA3D for target vulnerability analysis
  • ANSYS for finite element analysis
  • FATEPEN for projectile penetration
  • Tecplot for post processing & animation
