Advanced Logic Controller™

TheAdvanced Logic Controller™ implements an RCS hierarchy of control modules that provide basic high-level control capability for manufacturing automation applications. The real-time execution accomplishes control of automation and logic tasks. There is no requirement for additional "soft logic" or PLC controllers although the Advanced Logic Controller™ can be integrated with existing PLC's.

Users may install the Advanced Logic Controller™ on ATR industrial computers or other PC hardware.

The Advanced Logic Controller™ supports both real-time and graphical HMI in the control system. A pre-defined RCS architecture provides support for I/O configuration, sustem resource monitoring, fault management, serial communications, and DCOM communications. Developers and Integrators, using Advanced Logic Controller™ development tools can rapidly design and implement a wide range of manufacturing automation applications.

Versions of the Controller support servo and discrete I/O. With the Servo Package developers can build applications with unlimited software servo axis capability. Various servo networks such as SERCOS, ServoWire, PRofibus, CanBus are supported.

The Windows NT® operating system and the RCS Dictionary Server allows the integration of many other related applications to the real-time data.
